PRIVACY NOTICE

Precious Kids Day Nursery processes personal information about parents and children and is a ‘Data Controller’ for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation 2018 (GDPR). We collect information from you and may receive information about you and/or your child from your previous nurseries/schools and other outside agencies such as Children’s Services and Early Help.

 

We hold and use your personal information to support your child’s teaching and learning, monitor and report on how well they are doing, provide them with pastoral care, to assess how well the nursery is doing and for funding audit purposes. This information will be held while your child attends Precious Kids Day Nursery and for approximately three years after they have left the setting.

The personal information we hold includes your contact details, nationality, your ethnic group, National Insurance number, date of birth, details of special educational needs and disability, and any relevant medical information.

We will not give information about you to anyone outside the nursery without your permission unless the law permits it. We are required by law to pass some of your information to Manchester City Council, Ofsted, Department for Education (DfE) and Manchester Safeguarding Children’s Board.

If you wish to see a copy of this information we hold and share about you then please ask the nursery manager. You also have the right to amend the information we hold on you, request that it is deleted and object to certain types of data we use.
